OVERNIGHT PARKING PERMITS
Between the hours of 2:30am and 6:30am from November 15 and April 15 of every year, a car needs to have an official permit hanging from their rear-view mirror to park in City-owned overnight parking spaces. Vehicles in the overnight parking lots with permits must move the vehicle every twenty-four (24) hours. Our police officers will issue tickets or vehicles will be towed for the illegal parking in our city parking lots and on the streets. This is to keep areas clean for the Department of Public Works to maintain.
Complimentary overnight parking permits will be issued to employees of local businesses as they request them. Letters are sent out to previous year’s businesses who received gratis permits the year before. We grant complimentary passes to Ryno’s gym for patrons of his facility which is open 24 hours a day. Permits are available for the full-season at $82.00. Or temporary permits are available for shorter periods of time at $22.00 per month or $6.50 per week. No commercial or fleet vehicles will be issued complimentary permits.
Information required for passes: name; phone number; license plate number (#); car make, model, and color. Permits are attached to a license plate number and are non-transferrable without permission from the city.
