Long-Term Financial Planning
Long-term financial planning has become an increasingly critical activity in governmental finance. The City of Cadillac undertakes a comprehensive, entity-wide, six-year planning activity each year related to capital projects.
In this activity, all capital projects in excess of $7,500 are identified along with the funding source that is anticipated to provide the resources for the project. These projects can be anything from utilities and street infrastructure to street sweepers, and other equipment needed to provide municipal services.
