How do reserve the Rotary Pavilion, The Marketplace or City Park/Fountain?: There is a form that must be completed and submitted for approval. This form can be obtained at City Hall or can be printed from our website.

1. How do reserve the Rotary Pavilion, The Marketplace or City Park/Fountain?: There is a form that must be completed and submitted for approval. This form can be obtained at City Hall or can be printed from our website.

Yes,

• Daily Rate (4 hours or more) $100

• Hourly Rate (less than 4 hours) $55 per hour

• Non-Profit Daily Rate (4 hours or more) $50

• Non-Profit Hourly Rate (less than 4 hours) $25 per hour

Reoccurring Events: Events that are a minimum of once a week, for four consecutive weeks or more

3. Is there a fee to reserve the City Park/Fountain, Sound Garden, Tree Zoo or Bridge?: No, but a form is necessary to be filled out to use the those areas for events.

4. How can I tell if the date I am requesting is already reserved?: You can call 231-775-0181 ext. 120 for our Event Coordinator; Juanita Avila to inquire.

5. Is alcohol allowed in Kenwood Heritage Park; Kenwood Beachside Park; Lakefront Park; City Park; Blackburn Skate Park; Farmers Market; Sound Garden; Greenway; White Pine Trail; or Diggins Hill?: Alcohol is only allowed in Kenwood Heritage Park. Alcohol is NOT allowed in Kenwood Beachside Park; Lakefront Park; City Park; Blackburn Skate Park; Farmers Market; Sound Garden; Greenway; White Pine Trail; or Diggins Hill.

6. When do City Parks open and close?: All City Parks are officially closed after 11:00 pm each night and will open at 7:00 am each morning.

Electricity is available at Kenwood Heritage Park in the big pavilion and on the back side of the octagon rest room.

Electricty is available in the City Park at three locations.

Electricity is available in the Rotary Performing Arts Pavilion.

8. Is there a sound system at the Rotary Performing Arts Pavilion?: Yes. A sound system is available in the Rotary Performing Arts Pavilion. There is a fee call to inquire

9. Is there a fee for the use of the pavilions in Kenwood Heritage and Kenwood Beach Parks?: There is no fee for use of pavilions in Kenwood Heritage and Kenwood Beach Parks. It is on a First Come, First Serve basis.

The Disc Golf course in Kenwood Heritage has 24 baskets with concrete tee pads.

The Disc Golf course in Kenwood Beach Park as 9 baskets with dirt tees.

There is no charge for either Disc Golf course.

11. Is there a charge to use the Chestnut Street boat launch or the Kenwood boat launch?: There is no charge to use either the Chestnut Street boat lanuch or the Kenwood boat launch.

12. How long is the McKellop Walk Way and the White Pine trail?: The McKellop Walk Way is 1 mile long from loop to loop. The extension by the Naval Reserve adds approximately 1/8th of a mile.
The White Pine Trail is 1.2 miles long, end to end.

Are Weddings allowed at the Water Fountain; Walkway Bridge and Flower Garden at the Extension by the Naval Reserve Building?: Weddings are allowed at the Water Fountain; Walkway Bridge and the Flower Garden at the Extension by Naval Reserve Building when reserved with the Events Coordinator at 231-775-0181 Ex.t 120. Pedestrian traffic cannot be impeded.

14. When the change is removed from the Water Fountain, where does it go?: The change that is removed from the Water Fountain is deposited in the City's General Fund.

15. How much change is taken from the Water Fountain on average?: The amount of change extracted from the Water Fountain is approximately $8.00 to $12.00 - three (3) or four (4) times per season.
