The Department of Public Works is responsible for street
repair and maintenance operations.
Goals for 2002-2003:
Concentrate on the timeliness and quality of services provided
to city residents. Included will be the update of street
maintenance priorities based upon current capital improvement
program. Maintenance plan will include crack sealing and
other surface maintenance procedures that will extend the
life of those streets not scheduled for resurfacing or reconstruction
in the next five years.
