The Building Department
is responsible for the administration and enforcement of the City's
building, mechanical, flood plain, soil erosion and property maintenance
ordinances. The City of Cadillac administers and enforces the
Michigan Building Code (2003 Edition) and Electric Code (2005
Edition). Bob Hunt assumed his duties as building inspector on
January 17, 2006. Cindy Cornell has capably served this department
in an administrative capacity since 1982.
