All
industrial lots owned by the City of Cadillac have a City
Council established sales price of $15,000
per acre. An additional fee of $5,000 per lot is also
charged to recover the installation of the natural
gas
service. Inquiries to purchase industrial property should
be directed to City Manager Peter Stalkerat
(231) 775-0181, ext. 119, or at 200 N. Lake Street, Cadillac,
Michigan 49601. Offers to purchase industrial
property are made official through the preparation of a
purchase agreement by the City Attorney. Signed purchase
agreements are then forwarded to the Cadillac City Council
for action, which requires theintroduction of an ordinance,
followed by a public hearing and approval of the ordinance.
The City Councilprocess requires approximately 30 days
to complete. Closings can occur as soon as 20 days followingpassage
of the ordinance.
